FAILED TO RECKON: SERIOUSNESS Every where was silent, cool and all I could hear is my heartbeat in the room. In a class, a lecturer once said study hard and don't be robotic why did he say this ?   LOVE INSULT How do we react to insult? Do we get disturbed or worked out?    Today was a bad good day for me. I was trying to offer a helping hand and i was belated, insulted. I was However feeling melancholic due to the incident that happened. Not long after, a friend walked up to me, I narrated my plight to him and he said " let insult strengthen you " I was astonished about this but it is the truth.  As humans when we are insulted we tend to see ourselves as inferiors and unhappy. This shouldn't be. We should actually manipulate this and let it serve as our strength, motivation etc.

TRY TO FAIL Not long ago, I was having a discussion with my friend. We were deliberating on our semester examination which will take place in few days time. During the discussion, I told my friend about how scared, anxious and somewhat unprepared I am. Later he narrated to me issues of those who could not cope with schooling due to low intellectual capacity thereby, quitting schooling for vocational training. Despite that, they still performed woefully due to lack of comprehension. My friend made a statement " Samuel try, just try and when you fail you would know that at least you have tried." I kept pondering and reflecting about these words then I remember a line in Emily Dickinson's poem that state " success is counted sweetest by those who ne'er succed".  This insinuates that it is only those who experienced failure that knows the importance of success therefore, instead of running away from trying just because of he fear of failure, why don't we...

        WISDOM A PLAGIARISM When we hear the word plagiarism, what pops in our mind is "wrong usage", "stealing and publication of other persons language, thoughts, ideas or expression" then presenting them as ones original work. If we infer this, we are presumably right but looking at this concept "plagiarism", it has to do with another individual's logical reasoning which I call the application of this very individual's knowledge (wisdom).   Some people, mostly the believers will say- wisdom is the principal things, this I think means the meaningful existence of man himself.
